Top Five Marvel Movies with Ryan Foley

From Inverse

Making his fourth appearance on the podcast is the hilarious kindred spirit of mine known as Ryan Foley! Ryan might be the biggest Marvel fan I know, which makes this topic perfect for his talents. We count down our five favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, as of the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home! It is an uproariously special time of reflection on the Infinity Saga. We also talk a little about the tug-of-war between Sony and Disney over the rights to Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man. Do it up!

Top Five Movies Nominated for Best Picture Since 2009 with Nicole Mello

The Oscars are this Sunday and my sister, Nicole Mello, and I are talking about them! Ten years ago, they changed the amount of movies that can be nominated for Best Picture from five to ten after the snub of The Dark Knight was viewed as egregious. Now, the first comic book movie to reap the benefits of this rule change, Black Panther, has been nominated for Best Picture! Therefore, a year after we discussed the Wakanda-based superhero phenomenon, Nicole rejoins the show to discuss some of our favorite movies that have been nominated for the main award in that time.

My full predictions for the 91st Academy Awards can be read over on Saoirse Ronan Deserves an Oscar!

You can also hear me on Matt Zabita’s podcast, The X-S Press Podcast, where I am interviewed about my time working at Walt Disney World! Do it up!
